NAAIM Exposure Index Subscription

The NAAIM Exposure Index reflects the average U.S. equity market exposure reported weekly by active investment managers who are members of NAAIM. Subscribers receive access to the current weekly Index value, along with historical data spanning more than twenty years. Rather than predicting future market direction, the Index provides insight into how active risk managers are currently positioning client portfolios and the adjustments they have made over time.

Subscription Options and Costs

1. PROFESSIONAL PARTNER - Password  | Cost: $600

Non-Member Managers or researchers wishing to access the NAAIM Exposure Index page with a Password. The 2026 subscription is valid through December 31, 2026.

2.  PROGRAM PARTNER - API Key or Password | Introductory Rate: $1,500* 

Data Providers – Financial Services & Investment Firms using the NAAIM Exposure Index data through an API or password, including, but not limited to, quant trading firms, portfolio analytics providers, compliance platforms, research firms, hedge funds, RIAs, broker-dealers, and fintech companies.

Organizations that intend to incorporate the NAAIM Exposure Index data into their platform, redistribute or republish the data, or resell or provide the data to customers or other third parties must subscribe as a Program Partner. The Program Partner subscription provides the appropriate rights for commercial use and redistribution of the data.

The 2026 subscription is prorated and is valid through December 31, 2026.

Benefits:  API Key or Password; NAAIM Exposure Index Logo indicates your firm is a Program Partner to place on your website (optional).

*Subscriptions are based on the calendar year and are valid through December 31 of the applicable year. The 2026 subscription is prorated and is valid through December 31, 2026. Subscriptions renew annually for the subsequent calendar year.

Redistribution Agreement

Subscribers are granted permission to republish and redistribute NAAIM Exposure Index data, including through commercial research, analytics, and financial information platforms, provided that all published or redistributed content includes clear attribution to the NAAIM Exposure Index® as the original source. Attribution should state: "Source: NAAIM Exposure Index® (National Association of Active Investment Managers)." The data may not be modified or presented in a manner that misrepresents the information or implies endorsement by NAAIM. NAAIM reserves the right to revoke this permission if the data is redistributed without proper attribution or in violation of these Terms of Agreement.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

NAAIM Exposure Index subscriptions are billed on an annual basis and are non-refundable. Once payment has been processed and access credentials have been issued, cancellations will not result in a refund or prorated credit for any unused portion of the subscription term. Subscribers will continue to have access through the end of their paid subscription period. To avoid future charges, cancellation requests must be submitted 14 days prior to the subscription renewal date.

NAAIM Members Receive Complimentary Access to the Exposure Index

Current NAAIM Regular and Associate Members receive complimentary Password access to the NAAIM Exposure Index. If you are a current NAAIM member in good standing, contact Susan Truesdale at info@naaim.org to receive a temporary password.
